AUCTION NOTES
Rob Gunnels is retiring from the sawmill business and selling most of Gunnels Mill’s equipment. Nearly all equipment was in use until the mill closed in June of 2024. Sawmills, Edgers, Resaws, Chipper System, Vibratory Conveyors, Forklifts, Articulated Loaders, Air Compressors, Portable Buildings, Truck Scale, Log Loaders, Tractor, Amphibious ATV’s and More!

Condition of Equipment – Nearly every item runs and works. Neither Blackmon nor Gunnels Mill offer guarantees or warranties. Items are sold as-is, where-is. Blackmon Auctions will do their best to note any issues regarding items in their corresponding description and photographs. Please read item descriptions in their entirety, as well as thoroughly review photos, prior to bidding on said item.

Type Auction – This will be an onsite live in person auction combined with a virtual online auction! Whether you are onsite or logged into Proxibid, it will progress as a typical live auction. Of course, Pre-Bidding, Early Bidding and Max Bidding will be available online – beginning a few days before the auction.
Terms – There is NO sales tax charged on this auction to the end user. A Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to the bid price of each item/all purchases – This applies to purchases made on site and online. An additional premium of 4% (Total 14%) will be added if bidding online. If you bid online, invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction from doug@blackmonauctions.com. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction or the next morning.
Load Out/Equipment Removal – There is no assistance with Load Out/Equipment Removal. Please start planning item removal now. Please send your driver with the proper trailer for your load. There is NOT a loading dock on site. Please have your items removed within about a week if at all possible. This auction is being conducted at Gunnels Mill’s yard, NOT a Blackmon Auctions Yard. Upon payment you will receive a paid/zero balance invoice – BRING/SEND THIS INVOICE WITH YOUR DRIVER TO SHOW TO PERSONNEL ON SITE or you will not be able to remove purchases.
Shipping – Neither Blackmon Auctions or the seller will package items for shipping or arrange shipment of items. We suggest customers contact a local shipping company that is used to/capable of handling industrial type items and have them quote this for you. Our team will assist if the shipping company is able to complete their task(s) in the load out time stated in our terms.
