AUCTION NOTES
Reynolds Asphalt & Construction has been an industry leader in the DFW Metroplex area since 1981. Selling complete asphalt batch plant. Currently functional and operational – Reynolds has owned and operated and maintained since 1981. They purchased an updated plant and thus no longer need this one.
Type of Auction:
This will be an online only auction. Bidding will begin a few days before the auction. You can pre-bid throughout the process. You can also enter a maximum bid and Proxibid automated system will bid for you along the bid increments. You can bid during the closing of the auction as well. If a bid is submitted within the last minute of bidding a 60 second extension will be added.
Terms of Equipment/Assets:
Applicable Texas Sales Tax will be charged at this auction – if you are exempt please send you tax EXEMPTION documentation before the auction. Buyers Premium of 12 % will be added to the bid price of each item/all purchases. Invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction from doug@blackmonauctions.com. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction.
Entire Plant:
This entire plant is available for purchase in its entirety BEFORE the online auction starts BUT bids must be submitted in writing along with proof of ability to pay by 4PM on Thursday, August 4. Remember that there will be 12% added to that bid as a buyers premium. If the bid is acceptable then payment in full must be made via wire transfer on the morning of Friday, August 5. (If the entire plant isn’t sold in its entirety then the auction will proceed as scheduled selling in lots as presented below)
Inspection:

Load Out/Equipment Removal:
Please have all items removed as soon as is reasonably possible. All items must be removed within 90 days after the auction – by Monday, November 14 – If all items aren’t removed by that date daily storage fees will begin. The buyer will be responsible for rigging down and removing all items (there will be no assistance provided by Blackmon Auctions nor Reynolds). Anyone rigging and removing items must present full insurance (liability etc.) before beginning work on the Reynolds yard.
