AUCTION NOTES
Purpose Wrecker Sales, one of the preferred distributors of towing and recovery equipment in North America, had a fire last year. A used unit sparked and caught fire and thus caused damage to seven units. In order to complete the process of going through the insurance process and ultimate liquidation of these, these seven units must be sold through this auction. One of the units has significant damage to hubs and some hydraulics - specifics are listed for each item - but most only had slight heat and soot damage yet are also required to go through this process. Due to insurance regulations these trucks will carry “salvage” titles even though some are basically “new” (a couple are used). For this same reason Purpose nor Blackmon are able to offer any warranty on these items. Most components were not damaged (engines, transmissions, etc.) and therefore are likely available for warranty - Blackmon nor Purpose can guarantee that but can advise. Purpose Wrecker is cleaning and polishing what they can but are leaving the damage visible for the buyers to inspect - they will not fix the hydraulics on one of the heavys nor the hubs so you can see for yourself, and on most of the rollbacks the only damage was some warped visors and stained light bars which you will be able to see. This will be an onsite auction combined with a virtual online auction! Whether you are onsite in Wentzville, Missouri or logged into Proxibid, it will progress as a typical live auction. We encourage online bidding but customers will be allowed onsite as well. Of course, pre-bidding, early bidding, and max bidding will be available online to begin a few days before the auction

Terms:
There will be a 10% Buyers Premium added to all purchases. Slight additional fee charged for bidding online. Payment on auction day, unless prior arrangements made. Checks accepted with Bank Letter. Cash & Credit Cards accepted. If you buy online invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction from doug@blackmonauctions.com with Invoice & Wire Transfer Instructions & Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction.
Location/Directions:
1732 Prospect Rd, Wentzville, MO 63385 – Wentzville is a Northwest suburb of St. Louis, about 30 miles east on Interstate 64. On the southeast side of Wentzville take Exit #1C – The Purpose Yard is on the southwest corner of the exit.
