Condition of Equipment – Although Blackmon nor CW&W offer guarantees or warranties, every item in this auction functions as it should based on age and miles and hours – Much of this equipment is on the job at this printing! Only a few items where noted have mechanical issues (A couple motors in pickups went bad recently and the decision has been made to not repair). Everything else comes off jobs working and is ready for your job.
Day Before / Lunch Hosted by Blackmon Auctions and CW&W / Inspection – We invite you to arrive a day early! Beginning at 8AM on Tuesday, May 14 we will be open for equipment inspection. Beginning at lunchtime there will be food trucks – Mexican Food and Seafood likely! – and soft drinks compliments of Blackmon Auctions. We will be on site until 7PM. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. Type Auction - Type Auction – This will be an onsite live in person auction combined with a virtual online auction! Whether you are onsite or logged into Proxibid, it will progress as a typical live auction. Of course Pre-Bidding, Early Bidding and Max Bidding will be available online – beginning a few days before the auction.
Terms – Applicable Louisiana state sales tax will be charged at this auction. Buyers Premium of 6% will be added to the bid price of each item/all purchases – This applies to purchases made on site and online. An additional premium of 4% (Total 10%) will be added if bidding online. If you bid online, invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction from doug@blackmonauctions.com. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction or the next morning.
Haulers – CW&W are extremely capable of moving every bit of this equipment, especially the rail items. Contact Robert with CW&W regarding a quote!
Load Out \ Equipment Removal – There will be a forklift to assist loading for a few days. I don’t believe there is a loading dock on site. Please have your items removed within about a week if at all possible. This auction is being conducted at the CW&W not a Blackmon Auctions Yard. Upon payment you will receive a paid/zero balance invoice – BRING/SEND THIS INVOICE WITH YOUR DRIVER TO SHOW TO PERSONNEL ON SITE or you will not be able to remove purchases.
Shipping – Blackmon Auctions nor the seller will package items for shipping or arrange shipment of items. We suggest customers contact a local shipping company that is used to/capable of handling industrial type items and have them quote this for you. Our team will assist if the shipping company is able to complete their task(s) in the load out time stated in our terms.
