Over 500 Caskets. Almost all are “new”. All different varieties. Several different brands. Most are metal. Some are wood. Some custom “wrapped”. Some appear to be perfect condition. Most good condition. Some have imperfections/storage wear etc.

Type Auction:
This will be an online only auction. Bidding will begin a few days before the auction. You can pre-bid throughout the process. *You can also enter a maximum bid and Proxibid automated system will bid for you along the bid increments – THIS OPTION WILL BE OF GREAT HELP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MULTIPLE LOTS since during this online auction many lots will end up closing simultaneously due to bid extensions. Place your max bids and the computer does it for you. You can bid during the closing of the auction as well. If a bid is submitted within the last minute of bidding a 45 second extension will be added. Location:
222 North Lear Road, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas 72476 – This is where the entrance/door is. Parking/Staging will be in front of/west side of the offices/warehouse in the parking lot on Frolic Road. Watch for signs. Yes this is on the Walnut Ridge Airport facilities so please be aware of and thoughtful of surroundings.
Terms of Equipment/Assets:
Applicable Sales Tax will be charged at this auction. Buyers Premium of 14% will be added to the bid price of each item/all purchases (10% Buyers Premium + 4% Online Fee).
Inspection:
Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. Inspection will be the day before the auction from 8-4:30. To inspect early by appointment only contact Billy with Blackmon Auctions at 501-352-4703 or billy@blackmonauctions.com and let’s see if there is availability – Regulations/Security at the airport etc. and logistics will make this limited at best.
Invoice/Payment:
When you are finished buying on auction day please email accounting@blackmonauctions.com and request your invoice. Your invoice will be emailed back ASAP with payment instructions – Wire Transfer, Credit Card, Etc. If you do not email this request your invoice will be emailed to the email address you used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction (which will be late in the evening) from doug@blackmonauctions.com. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction or the next morning.
Load Out \ Equipment Removal:
Upon payment you will be emailed a paid/zero balance invoice – BRING/SEND THIS INVOICE WITH YOUR DRIVER TO SHOW TO PERSONNEL ON SITE or you will not be able to remove purchases. Please remove all purchases by TUESDAY, January 17. Make your tentative transport plans BEFORE the auction. This property is LEASED and must be turned back to the airport ASAP. * The forklift will only be there only for a few days. Most of these caskets will be hand loaded so send personnel – we will reserve rolling carts etc. for a few days. This auction is being conducted on the Casket Central Warehouse facility, not a Blackmon Auctions Yard. Send auction invoices with your drivers!
Condition:
Before bidding please know this - that these are being sold in the traditional AS IS WHERE IS condition that has governed auctions since the beginning of auctions. Our descriptions are merely guides and can be considered mostly correct most of the time. BUT we are NOT experts in the casket business and therefore we won’t be responsible for any discrepancies in descriptions and actual (for example the implication may be that a new still packaged coffin might be complete and lined MAY NOT be lined OR that an appliance still packed in it's “new” shipping box is brand new MAY NOT be in new condition, etc. etc.) These caskets are almost all “new” but may have been in this warehouse for a while.
