AUCTION NOTES
For the convenience of both Seller and Buyers, The Arkansas Department of Transportation Auction will be held at the Blackmon Auction Complex this Fall 2021. The list will be similar to past auctions only BIGGER!
Schedule & List:
– Wednesday we will sell the support items/small stuff.
– Thursday we will sell rolling stock – trucks, cars, equipment, tractors.
– Full list with over 1,000 photos will be available about a week before the auction – Watch for that updated link here, below, that will read “FOR FULL LIST, PHOTOS, AND ONLINE BIDDING CLICK HERE”. Also, click “BROCHURE” below to see the brochure.
Type Auction:
This will be an onsite auction combined with a virtual online auction! Whether you are onsite in Lonoke or logged into Proxibid, it will progress as a typical live auction, along with all the funniness of the auctioneers for your enjoyment. We encourage online bidding but customers will be allowed onsite as well. Of course Pre-Bidding, Early Bidding and Max Bidding will be available online – beginning a few days before the auction.
Terms:
If you buy online invoices will be emailed to the email address used at registration immediately after the conclusion of the auction from doug@blackmonauctions.com. Included in this email will be the Invoice and Wire Transfer Instructions and Credit Card Payment Link. Payment is expected the day of the auction or the following morning. (A fee in the form of a slight buyers premium may be charged by the online bidding provider for this online bidding service.)
Inspection:
Important Info – Inspection will be LIMITED – These items will be located on the Blackmon Yard in advance of the auction BUT inspection may be limited to the day before the auction. This is the typical policy of ArDOT and therefore must be adhered to. Please check back close to auction day as inspection day may be extended to a couple days before. Inspections that day are highly encouraged as all sales are final! Inspection of ArDot items most likely will NOT be allowed during the prior week’s auction
