Auction Notes

Selling surplus MOW and other items for Union Pacific Railroad. The majority of these machines are in very good condition and all look complete. Many are very low-hour rebuilds. The auction will start at 9 AM on Thursday, Oct. 22 and will end around 11 AM.

COVID-19 Protocol
Buyers planning to attend the auction onsite must observe 6′ distancing and wear a mask. Onsite attendees must also complete a questionnaire (download here) and bring it to the auction or complete prior to being allowed on the property.

You may inspect items from 8 AM to 4 PM the day before the auction on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Online Bidding
Online bidding will be available through Proxibid! Be sure to register early here. There will be a 6% buyer’s premium on all items sold (Proxibid will charge an additional 1.5% transaction fee per item on all online purchases). Items must be paid for the day of the auction unless you have made other arrangements with Blackmon Auctions. We accept credit cards, cash, wire transfers, or check with a letter of credit from your bank.


All items will be charged a loadout fee. That fee will be itemized and added to the bid price. A contracted rigger will be onsite to load from 6 AM to 2:30 PM beginning Monday, Oct. 26 through Thursday, Oct. 29. Nothing will be loaded unless the driver has a copy of the PAID INVOICE.
